Questions

My dad had a theory about questions: Ask a lot. He felt that curiosity was one of the most important things we human beings could be. Dad taught us that the best way to have a conversation with someone was to ask them questions - be curious about them. When the visit was over, you would know a lot, and the other person would think that you were the best conversationalist ever!

Jesus asked a lot of questions as well. "Who do men say that I am?" was and is a very important question from our Lord. C. S. Lewis once said (and I am not quoting here) that we had to decide whether Jesus was a liar, a lunatic, or Lord. Which one do you say that He is?

Wondeful post! I love curiosity as well... even when others' (read: the little boy's) curiosity is driving me nuts at the moment! It is definitely not possible to ask too many questions in life.

Questions are the way to learn. That is how we learn the Scriptures, by asking questions of the text and then searching out the answers with the proper contexts.

Of course, He is Lord of Lord and KIng of Kings, to whom every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that glory and honor belong unto Him and Him alone!

Yes, there are dumb or stupid questions, who ever said there weren't didn't listen to enough questions before they made that statement.

But I love people with honest questions who have a zeal to learn.

I agree with your dad. I always felt if you want answers ya gotta ask questions, even if it makes you look ignorant. That is how we get educated.
