Thankful Day #5

Some Facebook Friends are posting daily during the month of November about what they are thankful for. Great idea!  So I brought it to my blog.

Today I am thankful for the beautiful walk in my neighborhood.  The quietness of the cool morning, the distant sounds of traffic on the main road, the teacher over the PA system at the neighborhood school calling the children to order, seeing my neighbors walking their dogs while I walked mine, the fall flowers and the fresh mulch, getting to go in late to work so I can enjoy all of this.

What are you thankful for?

I'm blogging about thankfulness this month as well. :) I love going for walks in my neighborhood... but haven't in a while. Today I am about to be thankful for coffee - having a hard time getting out the door today!

It's always good to be thankful even in little things. I'm thankful for the rain today. It make me feel warm being inside the house cuddling with my dogs and cat.
