I will always be Daddy's girl. It doesn't matter how old I get, or that Daddy has been gone for 35 years. His influence lives on. He was funny, fun, patient and kind. He loved having me around - whether we were watching TV (which he didn't like to do much) or gapping the spark plugs on his car - we just hung out. So many memories and all good - listening to the Indy 500 on the old radio; making fig preserves; 4 mile morning walks; baking bread; lunch at the Petroleum Club; learning to dance (he was very good); trips; washing cars on Saturday; church on Sunday - so many more.
Most important of all is the legacy of how he showed me the love of the Heavenly Father! And some day we will be together in His presence.
