Thankful #11
For veterans. Happy Veteran's Day! My DH is a veteran. My father was a flight instructor during WWII. My uncle was a pilot during WWI. Yes, you read that correctly, WWI. the legacy of veterans extends into all branches of the family and all branches of the service. We are thankful for the veterans for being willing to go where they are sent to serve and protect us.

Thankful #10
BSf - Bible Study Fellowship. I am so thankful for this organized in depth study. This year is very special. I am attending the study of Isaiah with Little C. Yes, even at 18 months these precious children learn Bible stories and songs. It is creating sweet moments and memories for us.

Thankful Day #8 and #9
What was I doing yesterday that I missed posting? It is okay, I will catch up. For Day #8, I am thankful for health. I was working out yesterday morning with fabulous trainer Kyle (yes I am thankful I found him too) and realized how lucky I am to be able to do the crazy things he talks me in to doing! I am thankful for energy that comes from working out and from sleeping well. God has graciously given me such blessings of health - to serve Him more.
Today - I am so thankful for family. Reference the boomerang day to completely understand how very close our family is right now. I am also thankful for the two sisters-in-law who live one street over to the east and one street over to the west. I am thankful that I can have lunch with the SIL recovering from surgery and take a little care of her. I am thankful for the daughter who lives close enough for me to zoom over and help her with Little C. And speaking of Little C - do I really have to tell you how thankful I am for him? Here is a pic. . .

Thankful Day #6
At this stage of my life, we should be empty nesters. All the children should be gone. . .living on their own. Instead we have two adult children in the house - the boomerangs. For this I am very thankful. We get to share a part of their life at a stage in their life that normally we would not. It is not always easy - it is worth it all.

Thankful Day #5
Some Facebook Friends are posting daily during the month of November about what they are thankful for. Great idea! So I brought it to my blog.
Today I am thankful for the beautiful walk in my neighborhood. The quietness of the cool morning, the distant sounds of traffic on the main road, the teacher over the PA system at the neighborhood school calling the children to order, seeing my neighbors walking their dogs while I walked mine, the fall flowers and the fresh mulch, getting to go in late to work so I can enjoy all of this.
What are you thankful for?
